How does it work?
The calculator divides the usable volume by the volume of each box. The efficiency adjustment allows for a more realistic calculation: not all the space in a storage unit can be filled 100% if you need to access your belongings.

Tips for optimizing space
- Use boxes of the same size: they stack better and utilize every centimeter.
- Heavy boxes at the bottom, light ones at the top: books and tools at the base; clothes and textiles at the top.
- Leave an aisle: if you need frequent access, reserve 40 to 60 cm for passage.
- Label everything: write the contents on at least two visible sides of each box.
